Welcome to The Grimscape, you have just delved into a world of unimaginable darkness where the horrors of the occult and supernatural in our reality are apparent and very real in the Grimscape universe. We at the Grimscape are dedicated to bringing a dark urban roleplay experience to everyone who is interested in the more unhinged supernatural genre.

At the Grimscape, players will see many parallels to our own world, including cities, countries, and even histories. However, as time progressed supernatural beings, while still secretive, have become a major threat upon the human world. Many humans aren't even aware, or even care, but those smart enough, know of the creatures that lurk in the dark parts of the world. 

 

Humans in the lore generally are classified in three forms. Mundane, whom are the ordinary people who work their lives and tend to be the most victimized of the three. Next are the Hunters, who have little skills other than their sheer firepower and epic arsenals that no other race seems to be able to muster. Lastly, the Witches, whom over history have been given a bad name for the powerful spells they can cast, in many cases they have been betrayed by their own human kind.

 

If the humans are making enemies within themselves, it is almost always at the control of the Vampires. Domination of the humans is the penultimate goal of every blood drinker. It is in their nature to subjugate, as it is their best means of survival. While each vampire lineage is different and have their own unique needs and abilities, all of them have a commonality in their desire to play the power games, and win in the blood economy.

A thorn in the side of both mortals and immortals comes in the form of nature's most horrifying creation. Lycans exist and they are the singular reason for the fear inherent in all creatures as they stare into the endless void of lush or even barren tundras. Lycans play by the natural order, survival of the fittest, and the need to hunt and claim territory is encoded into their DNA. Humans are animals and thus are food, and vampires are just in the way of that.
